Photos of the QE2 Visit to the River Tyne in October 2008.These photos were taken in October 2008 when the QE2 made it's second and final visit to the River Tyne. People arrived at Tynemouth while it was still dark to watch her enter the River early in the morning as the sun was rising. The weather could not have been better, the sea was calm and there was very little wind as the great liner sailed steadily from the horizon, straight into the River Tyne.
The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
