A giant leaves the River Tyne. These photos were taken just after midday in very strange lighting conditions. The Hual Paris, one of a fleet of similar vessels, slips silently out of theriver. Alongside, the Pilot vessel is dwarfed. The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
The Hual Paris seen passing the Fish Quay at North Shields.
Approaching the Tyne Entrance, overhead the sun was partly obscured by thin cloud and resembles moonlight rather than sunlight.
Three views of the ship approaching the pier ends.
Leaving the River - the South Pier Lighthouse appears minuscule alongside.
A closer view of the rear of the ship and it's loading ramp.
Once out of the River it quickly gained speed as it headed out to sea. Links to all our ship photo pages can be found at the | ||||
