Photos of the QE2 Visit to the River Tyne in September 2007.DFDS Ferry Princess of Norway leaving the River Tyne. The QE2 was due to have arrived before the normal scheduled departure of DFDS Ferry Princess of Norway sailing to Amsterdam. The ferry sailed more or less on time while the QE2 waited for suitable conditions for it to enter the river. The ferries are large ships when seen in the river, but are nowhere near as large as the QE2 The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
