Awaiting the arrival of the QE2 in the River Tyne in September 2007.These photos were taken from North Shields in September 2007 and include photos of the many boats that were in the entrance to the River Tyne between the piers, waiting for the QE2 to arrive. The tugs were there to assist the ship up the river while the other boats formed a following flotilla. The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
